Let’s fly a kite! …upcycled notebook

I am seriously obsessed with making these fun little notebooks lately!! This one is for a dear friend who is having a little baby girl!! I was inspired to make something like this by a visit with a long time friend this summer. She had a notebook that she had been using to keep track of some of the hilarious things her 3 year old son says. We had a good laugh reading over her memories one night… some brought us to tears of hysteria. I thought it was such a brilliant idea to jot these things down as they happen. These are the moments likely forgotten as children grow. So now that many, nearly all, of my friends are having babies I wanted to make them something special to write these precious memories in. I love a handmade gift… and I love making these notebooks!
